How it works

How the cake
gets baked.

Token + DAO, One launch. Everyone at the table from the first block. A coin, a table, a cake, served together.

Set your recipe
  1. 01

    You set the recipe

Name the token and the DAO, write the description and socials (optional), add artwork, and choose the community’s share. Minimum of 50% going to the treasury, 100% is the ceiling. Then it is immutable.

  2. 02

    Every trade adds a layer

The instant someone buys or sells, the fee is split at the source. The community’s slice lands in the treasury automatically.

  3. 03

    They sit at the table

Holders propose and vote from the first block. The people who use it, believe in it, and build it are the team. Don’t hire one. Mint one.

  4. 04

    The cake pays the work

Grants, payroll, memes, buybacks, marketing... Money only moves when a vote passes. The cake can’t be taken. Everyone bake it together.

The treasury is a cake that bakes itself. Every trade make a slice and slides it straight into an account the holders own and control. Fifty percent is the floor. A creator can give more. Never less.

For the people who hold

  • Own a real slice of the treasury, not just a line on a chart.
  • Propose and vote on every spend from the very first block.
  • Get paid by the cake when the table values the work.

Don’t trust the chef.
Trust the oven.

Not a promise in a thread. It is in the code. The holders’ share can never be changed, the treasury belongs to them, and their votes are the only hands allowed on.

proof_1

All served together

The token, the DAO , its treasury, and the holders ownership to propose and vote go live in a single launch.

proof_2

Self-funded treasury from the first trade

No fundraise. No grant-begging. No empty-treasury cold start. The first trade starts baking the cake instantly

proof_3

Owned by the holders

The DAO and its treasury lives on-chain, controlled only by holders. Not by the creator, not by us, not by anyone with a badge.

The token, DAO information and the fee split. Chosen once at launch, then set in stone. And the DAO rules/setting set at launch and can be edited by community proposal and votes only

02

the table

The DAO where every holder has a seat. Together they own the treasury, propose and vote on every spend and decision.

03

the cake

The community treasury. It cooks itself from trading fees, trade after trade, from the first one.

Frequently asked questions

How Collective launches a token with a holder-owned treasury, and how on-chain votes work after launch.

Does a creator ever control the treasury?

No. From the moment the launch confirms, the treasury is controlled by the token holders, which moves it only by passed vote. The creator holds no admin key over it. However, creators can participate as token holder if they hold the token as well

Can the fee split be changed after launch?

No. It is set at launch and fixed for the life of the token. There is no function to alter it.

What is the minimum the treasury receives?

At least half of the fees enforced as a hard floor. A creator can direct more to the treasury but never less.

What happens if a launch fails?

Nothing is created and nothing is spent. The launch is atomic, so a failure leaves no partial state. You simply try again.

Is the guardian council required?

No. It is optional. Without it, a collective launch is a pure token-holder democracy. With it, the community gains a veto-only power that it can also be reshaped or removed by vote.

Can a guardian steal from the treasury?

No. Guardians can only block proposals. They cannot spend, propose, or pass anything. That limit is built into the council, not left to their discretion.

Can a guardian sell their seat?

No. Seats are non-transferable once activated. A seat only changes hands when the community votes to remove one guardian and seat another.
